INVISALIGN
Invisalign aligners have been a preferred orthodontic system for patients for many years. Treatment with Invisalign does not involve the use of any wires or brackets. The procedure makes use of a set of clear aligners that are custom made for every patient and apply gradual force to shift the teeth into proper alignment. Interested in Invisalign? CLEARCORRECT
ClearCorrect is a virtually invisible way to align your teeth. The system’s adjusters sit comfortably over your teeth while the aligners work by gradually shifting the position of your teeth, causing them to move into their correct alignment over time. One of the best perks of this type of orthodontic system is that aligners can be removed while eating, drinking, and when cleaning your teeth!
GETTING YOUR CLEAR BRACES
Once it has been determined that you are an ideal candidate for clear aligner therapy, we will take digital impressions of your teeth to prepare your custom treatment plan. These virtually invisible aligners can be used to correct underbites, overbites, and to close gaps between the teeth. It’s important to note that orthodontic treatment time varies for each patient based on their alignment needs, and that aligner trays should be removed only for eating, drinking, and cleaning your teeth.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Does ClearCorrect hurt?
When you receive your first set of clear braces and begin wearing them, you will likely feel some soreness as your teeth adjust. This is a perfectly normal response, and there are a few things you can do to ease the pain, like take over-the-counter pain medication, rinse with a warm saltwater solution, or apply dental wax on areas of the aligner that are causing the most soreness to increase your comfort. We also recommend putting new aligners in at night so your teeth can adjust while you sleep. Since Invisalign and ClearCorrect aligners are custom-fitted to your smile, the soreness will go away relatively quickly, and you should feel used to wearing them in no time!
Are clear braces hard to keep clean?
Wearing clear braces will add a few extra steps to your twice-daily oral care routine, but it only takes a few minutes each day to make sure that your clear braces stay as clear as possible. You should rinse them with cold water every time you remove them, as hot water can cause the aligner to become pliable and change shape. Then, soak them in white vinegar, clear mouthwash, or clear liquid soap solution and use a toothbrush to scrub them afterward. Once you have brushed your teeth and rinsed the aligner with cold water again, they are ready to be worn!
Do clear aligners stain?
Yes, which is why it is important for patients to clean them daily. This is also one of the main reasons why eating and drinking liquids besides water while wearing clear braces is never recommended. The good news is, you will begin wearing a new set of clear aligners every two weeks, so if you notice that your current aligners are not quite as invisible as they used to be, you’re probably due to start wearing a new set of clear braces very shortly.
